Last Thursday, December 19, 2024, we held another meeting of the WordPress Valencia Meetup, a group in which I participate as a co-organizer. On this occasion, we gathered in a networking environment accompanied by beers and snacks, which served as our end-of-year celebration. The evening began with a warm welcome, followed by introductions from all the attendees, some of them came for the first time.
During the meeting, we discussed a wide variety of topics: websites, favorite plugins, how they manage their businesses, and relationships with clients. Questions were answered, valuable advice was shared, and new ideas were explored. One of the highlights of the evening was the engaging debate about page builders like Divi and Elementor, where we discussed the pros and cons of each, depending on users’ needs and preferences. Additionally, there was time to reflect on the motivations that bring people to join the WordPress community. We also share personal and professional plans for 2025. Of course, no matter the topic, going to the gym always comes up in these conversations.
